Bridgeton unveils first picture of Queen Charlotte for the much-anticipated spin-off

Bridgerton has unveiled a first look photo of Queen Charlotte ahead of the much-anticipated spin-off.

It was announced last year that a spin-off series charting the younger years of the gossip-hungry glowing king would be in the works, with the show written and produced by Bridgerton’s Shonda Rhimes.

And Netflix released the first look image of India Amarteifio as a fan-favorite character from the period drama.

Exciting: Bridgerton has unveiled a first look photo of Queen Charlotte ahead of the much-anticipated spin-off.

The actress, 21, portrayed the character in a jewel-toned, elegant white dress with a matching corset and a shimmering satin gown.

She completed her regal outfit with a pair of cream satin gloves and pinned an extravagant tiara into her dark locks.

Charlotte glared at the camera standing in one of the mansion, with flower arrangements and sculptures seen in the background.

In addition to getting a first look at the character, Netflix has also revealed that the official title for the prequel spin-off will be Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story.

The series description reads: `Centering around Queen Charlotte’s rise to prominence and power, this Bridgerton prequel narrates the story of how the young Queen’s marriage to King George sparked a great love story and societal transformation, creating the ton world inherited by Bridgerton’s characters.

The news came ahead of Saturday’s Netflix fan Tudum event, where the series will premiere and more surprise announcements will be revealed.

The previous version would also see Golda Rochevel return to the role of Queen Charlotte, in her later years, with Adjoa Andoh as the fierce Lady Agatha Danbury.

Ruth Gemmell will also reprise her role as Lady Violet Bridgerton, while Michelle Fairley will join the cast as Princess Augusta.

Return: The previous version will also see Golda Rochevel return to the role of Queen Charlotte, in her later years.

Elsewhere, Cory Millchrist will play young King George and Arsema Thomas will make her television debut as Young Agatha Danbury.

Set in the mid-18th century, the film follows the life of young Charlotte, the daughter of the German royal family who married British King George III, and who played her in the Netflix drama of Cory Millchrist, in 1761, when she was seventeen years old.

The marriage lasted 57 years and they gave birth to 15 children. Miss Amarteifio, 21, who played DCI Roz Huntley’s daughter Sophie in Season 4 of the BBC drama Line Of Duty, has also starred in Dr Who and ITV’s Unforgotten.

It will also include the origins of other characters who appeared in Bridgerton, namely Violet Bridgerton and Lady Danbury.

After the hype that Bridgerton’s second series didn’t quite live up to the first’s gruesome heights, it seems as if the producers have taken note, with the occasional introduction to the Netflix drama, Queen Charlotte, being incentivized to keep it. Watch the numbers high.

Fan favourite: Ruth Gemmill will reprise her role as Lady Violet Bridgerton with Adjoa Andoh as Lady Agatha Dunbury.

In one of the scenes, the source says, a wall was reinforced. In another scene, viewers will see the headboards banging.

According to a source, there were fears that the energetic love scene in which the young king appears, played by India Rhea Amarteview, is so energetic that it could literally bring the house down.

“There is a young crew for the pre-show and the sex scenes are showing them,” the insider said. It will surely please Bridgerton fans who complain about the lack of sex scenes in the second series.

In one of the stories, there will be a headboard hitting hard against the wall. It will be more racy than anything from the first series.
