The Premier League have announced the broadcast picks for October, with Arsenal v Tottenham kicking off the month in a tantalizing clash on BT.

The first North London derby of the season kicks off on Saturday October 1 at 12.30pm, and Sky Sports customers will have the first chance to see title favorites Liverpool and Manchester City face off on Sunday October 16 from 4.30pm.

However, Sky Sports viewers will be much happier than those with a BT subscription, with Sky televising 18 games in the month, BT showing just five, although several fixtures have yet to be awarded.

October kicks off electrically, with the Manchester derby just a day after Arsenal v Spurs, and will be shown on Sky Sports at 2.30pm or 4.30pm, in what promises to be an exciting weekend.

During October, Sky will also show Arsenal v Liverpool on October 9, Spurs v Newcastle on October 22 and another clash between Manchester United and Chelsea on Sunday October 23.

The broadcast giants then close the month with coverage of newly-promoted Fulham v Everton on Saturday October 29, followed by a doubleheader Liverpool v Leeds (2.30pm) and Man United v West Ham (4.30pm) on October 30.

Sky will also show Manchester United take on Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, October 23.

After the North London derby at the Emirates, BT’s next fixture is on Sunday, October 9 when Manchester United travel to Everton at 7pm.

They will also cover the 12.30pm kick-off on Saturday October when the Foxes host Crystal Palace, before showing big spenders Nottingham Forest take on Liverpool on Saturday 22 October, also at 12.30pm.

Their final games of the month see Leicester host Pep Guardiola’s City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday October 29 at 12.30pm.

Amazon Prime may be newer to the TV listings than their more established counterparts, but they still picked up some of the biggest matches of the month.

The first game available on the streaming platform isn’t until Tuesday October 18, but they will show three games in one evening, starting with Brighton v Forest and Palace v Wolves (both at 7.30pm), before Bournemouth hosts Southampton at 8:15 p.m.

They will then show United v Spurs at Old Trafford a day later at 8.15am, followed by a bumper on Thursday October 20 starting with Brentford taking on Chelsea in a West London derby, Fulham hosting Aston Villa and Leeds traveling to Leicester, all kick off. at 7:30 p.m., and culminating with Arsenal v Man City at 8:15 p.m.
