The Rag’n’Bone Man will be making a special visit to Walford for Christmas at EastEnders.
Soap bosses unveiled their first look at the musician performing in Albert Square as part of Mick Carter and Janine Butcher’s wedding in the festive episode on Friday (23 December).
Rocky Cotton manages to convince the Rag’n’Bone Man to become an impromptu bandleader for Mick and Janine when he drops into The Vic by accident.

In the words of Gabrielle, dreams can come true. Thanks to everyone at EastEnders “For one of the best days of my life,” he said.
The Brit Award-winning singer-songwriter’s arrival on the field comes at a difficult time, as viewers learn Danny Dyer is about to exit the role of Mick on Christmas. Charlie Brooks also stars as Janine.
“We’ve always known the Rag’n’Bone Man is huge EastEnders A fan, so when the opportunity arose in one of our stories, it was the perfect moment for us to ask him to not only appear, but also perform in Albert Square,” said producer Chris Clinshaw.
“We’re all so glad he said yes, and we hope the audience will enjoy the special Christmas treat, like everyone else at EastEnders I enjoyed having Rag’n’Bone Man in Walford.”
Not much is known about how Danny will exit the show, though it was revealed that Mick’s final storyline will include a thrilling Christmas car chase scene.
Mick’s mother, Shirley, is hell-bent on proving Janine has been lying to her son for months – viewers know that Janine previously broke up Carter’s marriage and framed Linda for drink-driving.
