Erling Haaland rides a lawnmower, mannequins like Kevin De Bruyne, and calls Jack Grealish during a hilarious Sky Sports ad showing how bored the Manchester City striker is during the World Cup.

Sky Sports have released a hilarious video showing exactly what Erling Haaland has been preparing for during the 2022 World Cup.

The Manchester City striker was forced to stay at home while a group of his teammates traveled to Qatar because Norway failed to qualify for the tournament.

Haaland said he had been “working hard” while his friends were away, but admitted he had “missed the banter” during their team’s training sessions.

Sky Sports released footage of Haaland on their social media pages to promote the return of the Premier League on December 26.

The video begins by showing Haaland walking alone around Manchester City’s training base. He is heard to say: ‘I’ve been working hard while the men were away. “

The video then cuts to Haaland sitting on a medical bed, starring in the distance. “Sometimes… it’s a little boring,” he said.

The hilarious ad then jumped out to Haaland driving around the pitch on a law mower. And he was heard to say: “But time flies.”

The 22-year-old striker took his time getting dressed Company model. He is seen putting a “Kevin 17” T-shirt on the machine and talking to him.

Haaland is seen calling out to Jack Grealish.  But he failed to pass.  Instead, the England star's voicemail was heard:

This was in reference to his fine partnership with Kevin De Bruyne – who has assisted the Norway striker four times this season.

Haaland – who is desperate for the Premier League to return – is also seen bursting into one of Manchester City’s meeting rooms during the clip.

He heard laughter and thought his teammates had turned back. However, Micah Richards and Roy Keane were laughing on TV.

Haaland went on to call Jack Grealish during the segment. But he failed to pass. Instead, the England star’s voicemail was heard: “Okay, it’s Jack, leave a message.”

Despite being bored at home, Haaland wished his mates well. “Anyway,” he said, “I hope the men are well, and I look forward to seeing them soon.”

The Premier League season will return on December 26 – just eight days after the World Cup Final between Argentina and France.

As it stands, Arsenal are top of the table with 37 points. While City ranks second with 32 points.

However, ahead of their Premier League debut against Leeds United, City will take part in the Carabao Cup round of 16 against Liverpool on December 22.
