Justin Bieber slams H&M’s new line of ‘garbage’ merchandise that shows his likeness and urges fans not to buy them: ‘I didn’t approve of them’

Justin Bieber has let his fans know that he has nothing to do with the new H&M brand that features him.

The Peaches singer, 28, took to his Instagram Stories on Monday to slam the brand’s “discarded” new items that show his face and urge fans not to buy them because he didn’t approve of them.

“I did not approve of any of the range of goods they offered at H&M…all without my permission and approval. SMH I wouldn’t buy it if I were you,” he wrote on the first slide.

Another slide read: “The H&M merchandise they made of me is trash and I didn’t agree not to buy it.”

Justin also left a comment on the @jbiebertraacker Instagram page that showed photos of the merchandise, writing, “When everyone finds out I didn’t endorse any of these little merchandise.”

New outfits featuring Bieber’s face include a pullover dress with a black and white picture of him on it, and a duffel bag with various pictures of him printed all over, among other merchandise.

Some other items also feature “I miss you more than life,” a line from Bieber’s 2021 song Ghost.

In a statement to People, H&M responded, “As with all other licensed products and partnerships, H&M has followed appropriate approval procedures.”

H&M previously sold merchandise promoting the singer’s Purpose Tour in 2016, as well as the Justin Bieber Stadium Tour line in 2017, which the Baby singer was promoting at the time, according to Bustle.

The Canadian playmaker has his own line of products for sale on his official website, which includes hoodies, T-shirts, and sweatpants with his image as well as lyrics from his latest album, Justice.

Justin also has his own clothing line called Drew – after his middle name – which he launched in 2019 with Ryan Good.

The line’s “Abous Us” page reads, “A drawing home is a community, a place where you can be yourself and be loved, encouraged, safe, and valued.”
