Kate Middleton invites fans to tune in to a concert in the Royal Carols: Together At Christmas trailer

The Princess of Wales has invited viewers to tune in to her “very special” celebratory party in a new trailer for Royal Carols: Together At Christmas.

Kate, 40, looks radiant in a red sequined gown as she takes her place in front of the camera in the 19-second clip to share how the show is “full of festive carols and beautiful performances.”

The annual show – which airs at 7pm on Christmas Eve on ITV – was filmed on December 15 at Westminster Abbey, where the princess is joined by her husband, Prince William, and their children Prince George, 9, and Princess Charlotte, 7.

She was also joined at the London event by King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, as well as Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.

“Join us this Christmas Eve for a very special service at Westminster Abbey filled with festive carols and beautiful displays as we celebrate what makes this the most wonderful time of the year,” says Kate in the trailer.

Footage then shows moments from the service – including the choir singing ceremonial hymns.

For the trailer, the glamorous royal donned a stunning £460 sequin gown from British brand Needle & Thread as he stood in front of a Christmas tree lit up with fairy lights and covered in gold and red bows and ornaments.

She kept her hair in loose waves and her makeup low-key with a glossy nude lip, letting the bold dress take center stage.
