Maura Higgins reignites feud with Scott Henshall over ‘inappropriate dress’ row
LOVE Island star Maura Higgins has added fuel to her feud with designer Scott Henshall by claiming £12,000 for lost earnings, it has been claimed.
The 32-year-old was scheduled to wear a custom-made dress, created by Scott, to the star-studded British Fashion Awards earlier this month, but pulled out at the last minute because she felt it was ‘inappropriate’.

Now, sources say the reality TV favorite has billed the former creative director at luxury fashion company Mulberry for £12,810.72 – including £675.60 for her hairdresser.
An insider told MailOnline: ‘Maura is trying to charge Scott more than £12,000 for lost earnings after she skips the British Fashion Awards.’
It turned into a complete disaster. Scott’s PR team arranged for Maura to be dressed and agreed to pay for her ticket to the concert after seeing a sweet photo of her.
“But now his generosity has completely backfired, and she even tries to charge him for the hairdresser when she insisted her team’s awesome presence that day.”

Maura was initially thrilled when she revealed hours before the show at the Royal Albert Hall how esteemed designer Scott had created a custom-made gown for her.
She proudly posted on Instagram: “BFA tonight… first time ever having absolutely no control over my clothes… excited to see what @scott_henshall designed for me.”
But within hours, Mora pulled out of the event because she didn’t like the design.
She posted on Monday: “Obviously you can see I’m all set.
“The glam team is on point as usual. Basically…the dress, the shoes, everything wasn’t something I’d wear.”
“I don’t really know what to say, it’s like, I just feel like it’s not very appropriate for the Fashion Awards.”
The Sun later revealed that Scott was set to dress Maura, Lady Victoria Hervey and model Talulah Eve.
But things turned out badly because the dress was not what Maura had expected and she felt like she was second to Lady Victoria.
A source said at the time: “Mora’s dress was supposed to resemble Paris Hilton’s chain dress from 2002.
“In the end, it just didn’t look like him and she wasn’t happy.”
Scott was also supposed to arrange a selection of shoes for her to wear, which he didn’t do.
He then made Maura wait in her room alone for more than three hours to help Victoria get dressed.
It hurt. Poor Maura was so patient and she ended up standing up just fine.
To add insult to injury, Victoria ended up leaving with a bag that was supposed to be for Maura. It was a mess.
“Scott’s team apologized over and over to Maura but the damage was done. It was a nightmare.”

Scott is known for a series of daring designs including a red cut-out dress worn by S Club 7 star Tina Barrett and a £5 million diamond dress, worn by Samantha Mumba, which is now in the Natural History Museum. .
The Sun has contacted Mora’s representative for comment.
