Sir Cliff attributes a certain regimen of special diets to his diet and says he deprives himself of the things he loves to keep fit.
“It’s not really a diet,” Sir Cliff explained: “I eat well these days, but I only eat what I’m supposed to eat.”
“I have to give up some of the things I loved before,” he said, “but there are so many vegetables and different things I can eat, and that’s what I do.”

“And every time I hear someone come back, I think, ‘We ran out of money,’ so I don’t want anyone to say that about me.
“So I figured if I stopped, that means I could take a few years off and then call my management and say what about Albert Hall for two weeks.”
