Hamza faced stiff competition from fellow contestants Fleur East, Helen Skelton and Molly Rainsford when his hosts Tess and Claudia Winkleman declared him Saturday’s champion.

Hamza and Guetta’s win comes despite the duo landing at the bottom of the leaderboard, no thanks to Showdance which Craig Revell-Horwood had previously described as “disappointing”.

Speaking after his victory, an emotional Hamza said: “Words cannot describe how I feel. I want to thank one person in particular – Jowita, you are an angel in disguise as a human being. That is what you are, you are amazing.”

Thanks everyone for voting for us. This is the best thing that ever happened to me.

they did it! Hamza and Guetta’s victory comes despite the duo landing at the bottom of the leaderboard, no thanks to Showdance which Craig Revell-Horwood had previously described as “disappointing”.

He followed up on the inspiring words a choreographer once said to him, with Hamza saying, “Surround yourself with people whose eyes light up when they see you enter.”

Second, the top of one mountain is the bottom of another, so keep climbing. And third, slowly is the fastest way to get to where you want to be.

While Jowita said: ‘Everything is possible and it’s just proof that everything is possible. He came here on the show with no dance experience, with pigeon toes! And he did it. He worked hard and succeeded, and I’m so proud of you.

She added, “I want to thank everyone, you are amazing.”

Congratulations: The wildlife photographer, 32, faced stiff competition from fellow contestants Fleur East, Helen Skelton and Molly Rainsford as he was declared a champion by hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman.

Earlier in the show, things got very emotional for Hamza Yassin as he finally got his first perfect score with his last dance of the season and Guetta Przystal – his first top 40.

For their last dance of the night, Hamza and Gwita performed the selected couple’s dance to Jerusalema – Remix by Master KG featuring Burna Boy and Nomcebo Zikode.

And after their disappointing show, the two were determined to end their rigorous audition with a bang.

And they did just that as they got everyone on their feet with their stunt routines, with things getting a bit teary during the comments as the judges applauded his amazing progress.

Shirley told the couple, “Take a moment, take it, you are what I call a true contender… We will miss you, you are a star in his own right.” Guetta, you are just beautiful. What a wonderful partnership.

While Anton was fighting back tears he said, “I feel a little emotional watching you dance because it’s like the clouds part and the sun shines. I’ve watched many people dance in my life and found so much joy in watching you.

Then Craig showed his humorous side as he told Hamza: ‘You’re everything I’m not. You spread joy to everyone.

Go for it! And after their disappointing show, the two were determined to end their rigorous audition with a bang

While Mozzi added: “In the final I will try not to cry but you broke me… You spread joy, you made us forget only for a split second. What’s going on tonight I want to thank you for this joy.”

It comes after Showdance didn’t quite plan as after taking to the floor with their Quickstep routine to Let’s Face The Music And Dance by Irving Berlin, the pair struggled to achieve a flawless performance as they made a few mistakes.

Commenting on the dance, Shirley said: ‘It was the first time I’d ever seen a little scare. It just went wrong and it only took a few seconds, which I know felt like your lifetime, for it to move on. I applaud you for that high lift at the end which is really tough. There were some mistakes which were unfortunate but you are such a beautiful dancer.

While Anton was a bit more upbeat praising their transitions to the lifts, telling them, “Jowita never looked under any pressure whatsoever…you’re amazing, well done.”

Craig was blunt in his response, telling him, “I thought it was a bit rocky and awkward if I’m being honest.” Something has gone wrong throwing you off balance. It was as elegant and classic as you are.

While Mozzi said: There is a lot of pressure in the final, I chose one of the most difficult dances in the ballroom. And most importantly, you showed us that you are human, you made mistakes and you kept going. The most important thing is did you touch us, did you move us, did you bring us joy and you certainly did.

Meanwhile, Hamza and Guetta’s first dance of the night proves somewhat successful, with the pair leaving the judges and spectators elated as they perform salsa to Ecuador by the mantle! Rodriguez appears again.

Shirley began the comments, telling the couple, “I’m feeling so overwhelmed and emotional, what a way to open the 2022 final. He said he made it better and thanked them for their hard work.”

While Anton tells them that he laughs with joy when he watches Hamza dance, saying that there is a “freedom” to dance that didn’t exist before, adding: “You guys are so cheerful!”

He did the dancing masterfully, Craig said, praising Hamza’s “weapons design” and “silky smooth” performance.

Meanwhile, Muzi added that the first time they danced this, not everyone knew what would happen and said that while watching it the second time, they wondered if it would have the same effect, and Muzi concluded, “I like it even more!”

Hamza and Guetta got a credible 39 points in their first dance.
